Scope of work: Senior member of management team supporting the Company’s initiatives and deliverables to achieve its business objectives. Direct responsibility for project planning, development, and project management across multiple approved company projects.

· Collaborate with internal and external experts in preparing Technical and Financial Proposals for Consultancies

• Lead the implementation of the ILO Rapid Assessments on Child Labour in Antigua and Barbuda and St. Kitts and Nevis. These were baseline assessments providing technical information for the development of Country Accelerated Action Plans (CAAP) and the prevention and elimination of child labour (SDG Target 8.7)
• Convened mission meetings with country focal points in the Ministry of Public Safety and Labour (Antigua and Barbuda) and the Ministry of Employment and Labour (Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis)
• Established the research methodology and consent forms that were aligned with the ILO and UNICEF Manual on Child Labour Rapid Assessment Methodology
• Conducted mixed methods study inclusive of extensive desk reviews, key informant interviews and surveys with public officials and facilitated group discussions
• Developed Action Plan with stakeholders towards informing CAAP
• Prepared final (draft) reports with recommendations.

• Provided technical inputs to the design and delivery of key initiatives related to ending violence against women, girls and families such as :(a) proposal of the Women Economic Empowerment programme between CARICOM Secretariat UWI (Cave Hill Campus); (b)deliverables for Knowledge, Attitude and Perception Gender Based Violence consultancy; and (c) validated CARICOM Region Gender Equality Strategy and Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) of CARICOM Secretariat
• Implemented a Regional and three national (Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago as well as Guyana) Gender Budgeting workshops for 90 participants comprising Permanent Secretaries in Social Development and Finance Ministries, social planners and budget officers and leaders of national gender machineries
• Designed and coordinated capacity building programme geared towards reducing gender-based violence and supporting women economic empowerment for with government agencies and civil society networks
• Coordinated and implemented virtual and face-to-face capacity-building workshops (Saint Lucia, The Bahamas and Belize) to 170 representatives from civil society groups geared towards strengthening capacity to address gender-based violence and empowerment of women
• Delivered modules in Project Cycle Management and Monitoring and Evaluation to strengthen leadership of NGOs from the CARICOM Member States to manage their mandates of eliminating violence against women and girls and measure success of project activities
• Prepared Civil Society Capacity Building Toolkit to strengthen the capacity of civil society to implement and manage interventions geared towards reducing violence against women and girls.
• Created a compendium of NGO networks across the CARICOM region and internationally
• Scope of work: Coordinated the CARICOM Secretariat, European Union and UNWomen Regional Spotlight Initiative Project through stakeholder engagement, capacity building and knowledge management and therefore enabling efficient project implementation.

• Designed and lead an online regional study that investigated the impact of sovereign debt and climate-related events on vulnerable groups in the Caribbean namely Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Dominica, and Jamaica.
• Conducted literature review on the impact of national debt and climate-related related events on the economies of SIDS focusing on various key populations and intersectionalities
• Designed and coordinated fieldwork comprising 245 online surveys, community mapping exercises and consultations with a cross-section of stakeholders in each study country:
• Convened stakeholder engagements with Permanent Secretaries and Senior Directors in Indigenous Affairs, Social Service Ministries and National Departments coordinating disaster prevention and recovery as well as Finance Departments
• Engaged in focus group discussions with NGOs representing farmers/agro-processors, interest of persons with disabilities, women, youth and children as well as indigenous people-Kalinago group (Dominica)
• Facilitated quantitative and qualitative data analysis
• Prepared the main report, summary reports and Power–Point presentation
• Engaged 50 representatives from the regional civil society networks, national disaster coordinators and public sector officials on findings and policy recommendations.

• Lead the preparation of the first draft of the national Resilience Framework aligned to the ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework (ACRF)

• Key stakeholders were: Asian Development Bank, ILO, UNFPA and other UN agencies, USAID, Embassy representatives from the Philippines and India as well as representatives from ministries, department and agencies as well as NGOs in Lao PDR.

• Lead the programme assessment for the UNPRPD MPTF response to PWDs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Designed a qualitative assessment strategy for the assessment of the UN joint programme to support countries’ design and implement disability inclusive response and recovery planning for COVID-19. The research and informed consent instruments were incorporated within the design.
• Conducted key informant interviews with PUNOS, International Disability Alliance (IDA), International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC) and UN Country/Regional Teams in South -east Asia .
• Prepared COVID-19 Global Report - Assessment of the UNPRPD COVID-19 Response and Recovery Joint Programme
• Prepared 11 guidance notes on disability inclusion informed by the UNPRPD Strategic Operational Plan (2020-2025) and 26 country situational analyses reports.

Managed the Community Development Programme (2010-2013) in my role as Programme Dean ensuring that the programme was compliant with the requirements of the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ).
• Collaborated with the Gender Specialist on mainstreaming gender in the conceptualization and implementation of the Kingston Inner City Improvement Project

Revitalization of Downtown, Kingston. This included management
of the research process, undertaking quantitative and qualitative
data analysis as well as planned stakeholder engagement
processes.
• Engaged community-based organizations in preparing community
profiles and community action plans for technical assistance and
resource mobilization from the public, private sector and
international NGOs.
• Coordinating and connecting partnerships with social service
organizations, NGOs and faith based groups to improve the welfare
of vulnerable groups-single mothers, teenage mothers, elderly,
persons with disability.
