Additional Information

Because of the nature of the volunteer groups that I am involved in I play a huge role in the organization and planning of events. For the past 2 years my team has successfully reshaped the SLOC Inc. Olympic Week of activities by increasing participation of the general public and schools in these activities even adding on a sustainability component where we visited 4 schools each year to plant trees with the students. We also successfully hosted and participated in the TAFISA World Walking Day activity which has had a huge impact this year. Under SLAA, we continuously host competitive events so that athletes can gain experience competing at a high level on island. In the Athletes' Commission we successfully hosted in 2023 the National Athletes' Forum to celebrate athletes and give them a safe space to feel empowered to speak up and speak out.
